Post caps keep API costs honest, so the price on the tin is the price you pay. Not every post costs the same to publish: X bills a link post about 4× a plain one, and a video costs about the same again because it uploads in chunks, so each counts ~4× toward your cap. A post with images counts a little over 1×. The caps above assume a normal mix and are set below what that mix actually affords, so plain text stretches them further and a feed of nothing but video will reach the cap sooner.
